Shatnawi Safety Consultation Trains Iraqi Ministry of Labor Inspectors in Cooperation with ILO

Shatnawi Safety Consultation implemented a specialized training program for inspectors and managers of the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Security during 2022, in cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO), as part of efforts to develop occupational safety and health inspection capabilities in Iraq.

Engineer Firas Shatnawi, the company's director, delivered training programs covering work accident investigation, occupational risk assessment, occupational safety and health management systems according to international standards, in addition to legislation and regulations related to social security and work injury insurance.

This is not the first time the company has cooperated with the International Labor Organization. It previously delivered similar training programs to UAE Ministry of Labor inspectors in 2017, and to vocational training institution trainers in Jordan in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 2020.
